I believe that was David Samuelson on behalf of Roots-web, I know I
volunteered to do a couple local papers and have never had the time to
follow through on the promise. I did attempt to get permission for archiving
the online stuff from one paper and never got an answer, I guess I need to
go in person.

Quite a while ago someone (maybe the list-mom) was asking for volunteers to
type obituaries from local papers and send them somewhere so they were
accessible for people to look up..  I would certainly like to do that for
the Bend Bulletin and The Redmond Spokesman here in Central Oregon.  If
someone would or could tell me how to do this I will be glad to start with
today's obituaries and then work backward through the years.
