[or-roots] Pacific Typhoon

I remember the Columbus Day storm in Portland. Two or three trees in the  
parking area in front of our house were up-rooted and the electric wires to our  
house blew down. We had four kids under the age of six and there were no  
disposable diapers then. We were cold and had to cook on our camp stove out  in 
the yard...brrrr.
