Wow! am I impressed. Your response to my inquiry gave me a new lease on my genealogy life. To now know almost for sure when my gr. grandmother 
was born, but to know for sure who her parents were and to know the names of her siblings.  Gives me so much more to work with now. 

I was always hoping that I might find a living Graves descendant. Who knows now what is possible. Yes! I would so appreciate you sending me copies of  the census images. 
Will they give me the towns the Graves Family lived in Benton Co. ? Would the town be Corvallis, as you mentioned. 

Now to send away for death certificates for James and Melvina Graves. Perhaps I’ll find their parents names and locations. Can I send you postage money, stamps etc. for all 
your efforts?

I found a Mary C. Graves in Benton Co., OR in the Corvallis area in both the 1860 and 1870 census.  In 1870, the parents and children listed are:
James Graves - age 39 - cabinet maker - b. Ohio
Melvina - age 35 - b. MO
Chas. A.
Mary C. - age 13 - b. OR
Maria?
John 
May
Clara 
Olive

If you do not have access to the census through Ancestry.com or Heritage Quest, I can email the images to you.

I also checked the online index of the State Archives for Delayed Birth Records.  I did not find any for Mary C. Graves.

My records show that my gr. grandmother Mary Catherine(Cassie) Graves was born 
ca. 1856 in Junction City, Oregon.   Would anyone be able to research Graves birth
records for Lane Co. Oregon for the years 1850 – 1860 to see if their is any records
of her or her parents (also unknown) for Lane Co. or Junction City.
