Sue, Thankyou, thankyou so much for all the information you have researched
and send to me. I feel like now I have a chance to 

get past some frustrations with my amaturish attempts at researching my
family tree. 

 

The Jack B. Shirley below is a mystery to me. I was not aware of another
Jack B. I wonder what is middle name is?  My gr. grandfather

Jack Breese Shirley, who married a Mary Catherine Graves. I shall contact
the Shirley Family Association see if they know this Shirley. 

 

Again thanks. It must be fun finding info others have struggled with and
being able to enlighten them.

ca. 1856 in Junction City, Oregon.   Would anyone be able to research Graves

records for Lane Co. Oregon for the years 1850 - 1860 to see if their is any

of her or her parents (also unknown) for Lane Co. or Junction City.
