[or-roots] King/Cox and North Carolina

Hi Jane,
I am not related. I just enjoy doing others a favor when I can. I have
been helped by people all over the world trying to find my husband's deBeers
family which supposedly came from Holland in 1855, and I like to return the
favor.

Interesting that Wilburn was born in Ashe County NC in 1822. My gg
grandparents were George V. Miller and Rachel Dixon. George was born
November 10, 1801 in Ashe County North Carolina. Rachel was born May 15,
1821 somewhere in North Carolina. So if you run across those names I'd be
ecstatic! My parents have been looking for them for many years.

Let me know if there's anything else I can look up for you.
Ronda

Sorry- forgot to say that the parents of Gideon S. Cox were Joseph Cox
( b. 12-25-1766 Cane Creek, Orange Co. NC) and Mary Pope (b. 1774 )
poss. in Ashe Co., NC.
Joseph's parents were William Cox and Juliatha Carr. I also have the
list of Gideon's siblings, if you like. Thanks again.
