Sorry- forgot to say that the parents of Gideon S. Cox were Joseph Cox ( b. 12-25-1766 Cane Creek, Orange Co. NC) and Mary Pope (b. 1774 ) poss. in Ashe Co., NC. Joseph's parents were William Cox and Juliatha Carr. I also have the list of Gideon's siblings, if you like. Thanks again.
