[or-roots] Brickwalls redux

i am one of the fortunate ones.  my hutchinson line was a brick wall for 
about 25 yrs.  then out of the b lue 3 very nice ladies filled me in on this 
line.  now this was a line that a distant cousin of mine had all the time. 
he lived in seattle.  he would not share anything.  i am such a believer in 
sharing everything that i have.   i sent a lady most all of my bonney line 
back to adam and eve and she either gave it or sold it to ancestry.com.  all 
of a sudden it was all over the internet.  i just didn't care.  if she 
gleaned all there was for her out of it then to me it was worth it.  i have 
spent hundreds of dollars to see if i could get my data and all the pics i 
have out to anyone that wanted them.  i will continue to do so.  my 
hutchinson line went back to elijah dow hutchinson and his birth in 1824 in 
ohio.  that is all i had and now thanks to those ladies i have a ton of data 
and charts and a little of everything.  i have been in az. 4 years and i 
hope to return to oregon this year where i can continue to research and give 
my time.  i personally would like to see everyone do this about once a year. 
if each person finds one male in their line and only half find wives w/ 
maiden names, just stop and think how many of us that would benefit.  i have 
every child of jarius and dr. truman bonney.  on dr. truman that is as far 
as i cared to go since it is jarius who is my direct.  these people had 
12-14 children and most of them married.  same goes for elijah d. 
hutchinson.  i do remember the stories on most of these people but i turned 
down thousands of pics because they were not my direct line.  i have always 
felt that more people need to "share" rather than worry about giving away 
their hard work.  [just my personal opinion]  at the moment my gene. program 
will not allow me to copy anything to paper or disk.  but when its fixed, 
after i move, then all are welcome to anything i have.  i have found a 
copying place that will do the pics.  all i have ever asked is that i am 
paid for my outlay of cash.  soma do and soma don't.
