My best suggestion when someone posts the incorrect information and won't correct it is to post the correct information along with the source information. I'd go so far as to actually adding that mis-information also exists and that you have tried to get it corrected, unsuccessfully. That way, at least new researchers would find BOTH sources and would know yours was the correct one.
