Hello!
Belated Roll call reply
I'm Looking for info on John Parrott,(as well as
Joseph Elgin Parrott and Lewis Smith Parrott (still)).

Searching for information on John Parrott (born approx
1820) to Oregon in 1845 or before. Family legend has
that he went back to Misourri to bring othes here. He
shows up again on the 1847 'crossing list' of
Stephanie Flora's website w/ other family members
(Joseph Elgin Parrott and Lewis Smith Parrott). A
link that was posted recently by a member gave
Washington State Archive link (which I used but sadly
didn't print or copy). It showed that he was involved
in a civil dispute in Centrailia or Chehalis in about
1904. Sadly I deleted the link, as I wanted to search
further, since it seems John made his way across the
Columbia. Here is what I have on him:

1845	John Parrott shows in Oregon Census Index Marion
County, No township listed ID#ORS4a1998917

1850 Parrott John Marion County Census reel #
M432-742 Page # 166, Enumerated 14th day of January
1851 by W.H. Rees No: 84A
21 157 157 Parrott John age 30 M Laborer born Mo.

also Pg 83, Marion County, no township listed on
Oregon Territorial Census Index ID# OR7a4119722

1866 John Parrott married Susan Hagey 29 March 1866 in
Yamhill County OR.
