Les,
Have you looked on the State Archives website in the Historical Records
Index?
http://genealogy.state.or.us/
There is a state census for Marion County in 1895 and it lists numerous
Keizers (I did not try all the variant spellings) including Frank and
Mabel etc. The index does not include all the information from the
record but copies could be requested and it might provide some
additional clues.
Regards,
Layne Sawyer

Trying to decipher the in-laws of my middle name namesake and find her
grandparents in 1900 in North Salem Precinct, which I am pretty sure
became
Keizer;
Keizer Frank Head July 1857 42 m 17 Oregon Carolina N Indiana
Mabel Wife Dec 1863 36 m 17 5 / 5 " Illinois
Oregon
Russell son Aug 1884 15 "
Phillip
Cornelia Dau (sp?)
Grace
Ellen
Now my main objective is Russell, in 1920 around the corner from E
Couch
street on E Burnside I find him;
Keizer, Russel Dr. 35 Or Or Or
Laura M. 34 N. Dak Ill MN
Ennis R. `11 OR Or ND
Mable S 8 " " "
John P. 7 " " "
In the wedding party in 1934 I have Mable and brother John, with her
cousin
Margaret Coonan as one of the Bridesmaids and the flower girl is
Cousin
Catherine Keizer and another cousin of the bride; Frank is page.
What I am primarily interested in is trying to find where Russell and
Laura
are in 1910 so I can explore the possibility that Coonan is Laura's
maden
name. Of course if someone was really bored and wanted to look in 1930
to
see who the flower girl and the page are children of I wouldn't be
disappointed.
I believe I have traced Frank back to TD or JB who settled Keizer
Bottom
and it was named for. Too sleepy to try any more tonight.
