I do not know who might have placed the flag but it could have been a veterns group.
By the way you were not far from where I live in the Gateway, Parkrose Heights neighborhood.

On Monday I was visiting the pioneer cemetery located on 122nd and Sandy Boulevard and notice one American Flag next to the grave stone of my Uncle who was in the US Army during WW II.

Does anyone know who might have been responsible for this flag?  It was the only one in the whole cemetery.
