Eugene;
Do any of your cousins live in the area? Or maybe were visiting? I can't
imagine a randomn stranger putting ONE flag out. If you had mentioned you
were visiting one of us might have done so just to make you go nuts trying
to figure out who it could have been, but I don't recall that you mentioned
a visit. I am sure that there had to be lots of folks who were entitled to a
flag and if it had been VFW or whoever there would have been more than one.
I know that I have Melvin cousins that still live in the northern part of
state that I have never met. They don't seem to be much interested in
meeting the rest of us.

On Monday I was visiting the pioneer cemetery located on 122nd and Sandy
Boulevard and notice one American Flag next to the grave stone of my Uncle
who was in the US Army during WW II.
Does anyone know who might have been responsible for this flag? It was the
only one in the whole cemetery.
