Barbara,

If you want to send us information or corrections please use the project email address which is:

Early.Oregonians at state.or.us

This has been a long arduous project and we know there are duplicates and errors that we are continuing to work on editing and amending. We plan to update and refresh the information on a quarterly basis.

Mimi and the other volunteers working on this have continued to refine the data and it is definitely a work in progress as she said in her earlier email.

Regards,

Layne

Errors are bound to happen. Do you know if there will be a way to bring an error to someone's attention - or a way to add a post-em?

It is a great project, and I do want to extend my thanks to you and all the other volunteers.

As one of the volunteers who has worked on this database the past five years I hope all of you will be a little tolerant when you find errors! This has been a monumental project requiring checking and more checking. We realize that it is not perfect but hope that you will welcome it as an additional tool in your Oregon research! It is still a work in progress.

By the way, DC stands for Death Certificate - Donation Land Claim is DLC.
