Thanks for writing. I agree it seems like 100 years ought to be enough distance, but I don't know the answer to that. I asked about the other descendants requesting these records since they both descend from the oldest son, but did not get a response. I guess there is a long process for a family filing a request for this type of record - if it seems that knowing the medical record could have an impact on the health of the family member alive today; well, wouldn't it anyway?
