Then, to get the whole list, click in the box that says “Enter county code” and erase anything in the box, so it is blank. Then, click on “look up codes.” This gets you the entire list.

 

Otherwise, if you already have a code, put that code in the box.

The reason for the DC in Oregon, I would guess, had to do with the probate. How they got Benton out of that, however, I don’t know. There does not appear to be an “out of state” code, but why pick Benton instead of Jackson (15), where the “home place“ was?

I have managed to lose my link to the State Archives for looking up birth, death, marriage, etc. records.  Can anyone help me out with this.  I am trying to find the actual death date of an Elizabeth Haworth Dillon who was buried in the Friends Cemetery in Yamhill County Oregon.  The findagrave just gives 1940 and I would like to have the actual death date.
