[or-roots] Oregon death index lookup

Since I don't know the exact year or date of my aunt's death but know that
it was sometime around 1914 or 1915 and she was a child.  Is there anyway of
knowing if there was some sort of epidemic in that time frame in Portland?
I know she is buried in the old pioneer cemetery in Portland and I have
contacted them but they only have a record of her being buried there with
two of her siblings and a step mother (all in the same area).
I would really like to know the date of her death and what she died from but
can't find a death record.
Her name was Verna Marie Hardwick and her parents were Noah Hardwick and
Venus Howell.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
