  I was likely the one who posted information on Coos county, but I did not post anything on the Mathew family. I notified the list that I have moved the Coos County Cemetery listing with links to the known cemetery listings and my plot maps to http://coquillevalley.org/cemetery/cemetery.html. 



  In regard to your Mathew's, if they were buried in a Catholic cemetery, the only one that I am aware of is in Bandon. The contact point to check to see if they are buried there would be the Bandon chapel of Amling/Schroeder Funeral Home. If she lived was buried in Coos Bay, the two most likely would be Sunset Memorial Cemetery or Ocean View Memorial. Both of these cemeteries have the same office staff who can check if she was buried on their site. They frequently keep a copy of the obituaries for their burials as well. If none of these leads pan out, have you asked ROAGK.org (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) if a volunteer could find a printed obituary? It may also indicate where she is buried.


  I know that there are Mathews (pronounced the same way your name is) living in the Myrtle Point area, but do not know if they have family ties to this area to a Henry or Alberta.

  Do I remember a few weeks ago there was information on Coos County?  At that time I did not think I had a connection!

  Looking for information on Alberta Emma Gzehoviak Mathew.  She died in Coos Bay on 20 November 1979.  Her widower was Henry Mathew....pronounced Mayhew. She might be buried in a Catholic cemetery if there is one there in Coos Bay.
