[OR_Archaeology] Oregon celebrates 1st statewide day of culture

Oregon will celebrate its first statewide of Day of Culture on Wednesday, October 8, 2008.  October is National Arts and Humanities Month and October 8 marks the sixth anniversary of the passage of Oregon's cultural tax credit.  
 
We hope that all of Oregon's arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits will participate in -- and benefit! from -- the celebration. Please put the date on your calendar, brainstorm it with staff and board, and stay tuned for more details.
