Lane County Receives Boating Facility Grant

Lane County was awarded a boating facility grant from the Marine Board at their quarterly meeting in Salem on April 28.
	
Lane County applied for, and received, a grant to replace an existing pumpout/dump station located at Richardson Park Marina on Fern Ridge Reservoir.  The facility will receive a new combination pumpout/dump station with remote monitoring system, utilities, and will retrofit the existing floats with new bull rails, bumpers and walers, and decking.  The Board approved $19,000 in state boater funds combined with $57,000 in federal Clean Vessel Act funds for a project total of $76,000.
