Port of Alsea Receives Boating Facility Grant

The Port of Alsea was awarded a boating facility grant from the Marine Board at their quarterly meeting in Salem on April 28.
	
The Port of Alsea applied for, and received, a grant to repair, resurface and restripe the existing paved parking area located at the Port ramp on Alsea Bay.  The Board approved $55,000 in state boater funds combined with $5,000 of applicant cash and $600 of in-kind contributions for a project total of $60,600.
