Guide Advisory Committee to Meet in Salem

                The Oregon State Marine Board has been meeting with registered Guides and Outfitters across the state since February as part of a thorough review of the program.  The Marine Board assembled a Guide Advisory Committee (GAC) to develop recommendations for the Guide and Outfitter Program.  The Guide Advisory Committee will meet at the Marine Board office, 435 Commercial Street NE, in Salem on Tuesday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The meeting is open to the public.
Any rules that are proposed through coordination with the GAC will require a public rulemaking process after this process is complete. Any changes to fees or other major modifications would require an act of the Oregon Legislature.
