Marine Board Meeting Scheduled in Sisters

                The Oregon State Marine Board will meet on June 27 and 28 at the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge, 505 Hwy 20 West, in Sisters, for their quarterly meeting.  Board members will consider boating facility grant requests on June 27 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and continue with the general Board meeting on June 28 from 9 a.m. until agenda items are concluded.
                The Board will be considering the following rules and agenda items:

*         Rulemaking consideration on the Outfitter/Guide Registration program;

*         Rulemaking consideration on the Adopt-A-River program as adopted by the Oregon Legislature in House Bill 3157;

*         Rulemaking consideration on language pertaining to Boating Under the Influence of Intoxicants;

*         Rulemaking consideration pertaining to the Boating Facilities Maintenance Assistance Program (MAP);

*         Agency staff reports.
The meeting is accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617 by Thursday, June 23.  Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the 9 a.m. general meeting on June 28.
