Marine Board Seeks Public Comment on Clarifying Current BUII Rules

               The Oregon State Marine Board seeks public comment on a proposed repeal and amendment of existing Boating Under the Influence of Intoxicants (BUII) rules.
The proposed change would repeal OAR 250-010-0400, Boating Under the Influence of Intoxicants, 250-010-0450, Training for Operators of Breath Testing Equipment and 250-010-0460, Certification of Accuracy of Breath Test Equipment and amend rule language in OAR 250-010-0430, Chemical Analysis and 250-010-0440, Qualifications and Training of Breath Test Equipment Operators.
These changes will help clarify the administrative rules for Boating Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
Written public comment will be accepted September 1 through the close of business on September 30.
