Marine Board Meetings Being Held April 10-11 in Springfield

               The Oregon State Marine Board is maximizing their time during upcoming meetings being held in Springfield on April 10 and 11.
On April 10, Marine Board members and staff will participate in a ground-breaking ceremony for the Clearwater Park Boat Ramp and expanded parking area beginning at 10:30 am.  The ceremony is being coordinated by the Willamalane Park and Recreation District.  Following the dedication ceremony at 12:30, Marine Board members will meet for a budget work session with agency staff.  Beginning at 6 pm, the Marine Board is holding a public meeting to consider rule action for boating regulations on Waldo Lake.
On April 11, the Marine Board's quarterly meeting will begin at 9 am.  Agenda items are as follows:

*        Director's Report

*        Legislative concepts

*        Staff reports

*        Consideration of rule adoption for OAR Chapter 250 Division 014, Maintenance Assistance Program

*        Consideration of rule adoption for OAR 250-020-0280, Sellwood Bridge

*        Consideration of rule adoption for OAR 250-020-0280, Holgate Channel

*        Consideration of rule adoption for OAR 250-010-0440, BUII

*        Consideration of Small Grant Authorization for Boating Facilities

*        Consideration of 2011-2013 Round Two Boating Facility Grant Applications

The meetings will be held at the Willamalane Park and Recreation Center, 250 South 32nd Street in Springfield.  The meetings are accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617 by Monday, April 9.  Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the 9 a.m. general meeting on April 11.
