Marine Board to Meet on July 12-13 in Salem

               The Oregon State Marine Board will meet at the Marine Board office, 435 Commercial Street NE, in Salem, on July 12 for a Board work session from 1 pm to 5 pm.  The Board will hold their general quarterly meeting on July 13 from 9 am to 1 pm.  Both meetings are open to the public.
            The following items are on the agenda:

*        Consideration of Repeal of Division 025, Temporary Boating Rules, OAR 250-025-0010 Purpose, and 250-025-0020 Scope;

*        Consideration of 2011-2013 Boating Facility grant request for the Port of Brookings;

*        Charter boat legislative concept report;

*        2013-2015 Agency requested budget;

*        Staff reports;

*        Election of Board;

*        Executive Session ORS 192.660(2)(i)

The meetings are accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617 by Wednesday, July 11. Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the 9 a.m. general meeting on July 13.
