Marine Board Meeting in Lincoln City October 25-26

      The Oregon State Marine Board will hold their quarterly Board meeting on
October 25-26, at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort, 7760 North Hwy 101 in Gleneden Beach.  On October 25, the Board will be touring boating access sites from 10 am to 4:30 pm, and holding an executive session from 5 pm to 6 pm.  The general Board meeting will be held on October 26, beginning at 8:30 am in the Sitka Room.
            The Board will be hearing informational presentations on the Duckworth Dock, Petition and Rulemaking Procedures, Multnomah Channel, election of Board officers and staff reports in addition to the following agenda items:

*       Consideration of Chetco River Petition Request for boat operations in Curry County

*       Consideration of a petition to extend the "no wake enhancing device" zone on the Lower Willamette River for boat operation in Yamhill and Marion Counties

*       Consideration of Rulemaking for Outfitters & Guides, Chapter 016

*       Consideration of Rulemaking for Ocean Charter Vessels, OAR 250-015-0005

*       Consideration of Rulemaking Boat Operations on the Willamette River in Clackamas County, OAR 250-020-0032, Ceremonial Harvest of Salmon and Steelhead by members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde

*       Consideration of Rulemaking for authorization for a state agency representative to appear on behalf of the agency at particular classes of hearings

*       Boating Facility Grant Requests

The Board will accept public comment during the designated period at the beginning of the meeting on October 26.
