Marine Board Meeting in Salem July 7

The Oregon State Marine Board will hold their quarterly meeting on July 7, beginning at 9 am at the Marine Board office, 435 Commercial St. NE, in Salem.

The Board will consider boating facility grant requests for Cycle One, in addition to the following agenda items:

*       Adoption of Rules for Scenic Waterway Restrictions for the Deschutes River, OAR 250-030-0110.

*       Consideration for Rulemaking for Division 015 Ocean Charter Vessels, amend definitions; clarify boat safety and equipment rules.

*       Consideration for Rulemaking for Division 016 Outfitter/Guide Registration, amend boating safety and equipment rules, adopt rules for drug, health and knowledge testing.

*       Elect Board Officers

*       Informational staff reports
