[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

In the past, OSPS had until 12:45 each day to send our   batch of manual
checks to DAS Publishing and Distribution to have the checks printed.
That deadline gave P&D enough time to print and package the checks and
meet the schedule of the secure courier who delivers the checks to us.  

 

We've been asked to move our deadline up to 12:30 each day.  P&D has had
some challenges in meeting their deadlines, getting the checks printed
and not missing the secure courier.  

 

We've discussed as a group and we believe that we can meet this new
deadline without setting an earlier daily deadline for our agency
customers.  At least we are going to try very hard to do that!  You can
help by sending your check requests as early as possible each day.  We
recognize and acknowledge that you have your own schedules and
challenges, but the more check requests that get here early, the better
chance that we won't have to move our deadline back to 11:45.  

 

We will keep you informed about how this is going.  Thanks for your
