[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Some of the tentative CBA's for 2011-13 give employees additional
flexibility in taking the floating furlough days, including a maximum of
two days per week. To accommodate these provisions, last night, we
removed the edits in OSPA that limited the number of hours of LA an
employee can use in a month. Because OSPA operates on a monthly pay
period and employee schedules vary significantly, we cannot implement
limits for a week. This means that if the applicable CBA has limitations
for LA usage, agency payroll will need to institute manual monitoring.
