OSPS E-News ~ Flex Spending Account Error on P370 Screen

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

December P370 screens have a new error:

 

5200-FLEX SPEND DED AND NO ADMIN FEE    

DED CODE/PLAN = FHNN/    DATE = 20111231

 

This is a non-fatal error (OSPA still pays benefits and your employee
still gets paid).  This message means that the employer-paid
administrative fee to PEBB for flexible spending account(s) is missing
from your employee's deduction screen.

 

PEBB.benefits has not yet interfaced this to OSPA.  Once that happens,
the message will only display for new exceptions going forward.  PEBB
does not yet know a timeframe for this to occur.

 

Again, this is a non-fatal error.   It will not impact your ability to
pay your employee correctly.
