Subject: PPDB is Down!

If you are receiving the "abend screen" in PPDB it is because it is down for maintenance.  A communication email was sent to agency PPDB techs earlier this week indicating that PPDB would be down this afternoon. A message indicating that PPDB will be down this afternoon is also listed in the welcome message as well as the PBNG newsletter screen. If you receive an Abend Screen it is because PPDB is down.

For today, It is not necessary to call the number listed in the "abend screen". You may clear your screen however please stay out of PPDB for the remainder of today. The system should be available tomorrow morning.

Please pass this information along to others in your office who might also use PPDB.
