The Federal Government updated the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification on March 8, 2013. Agencies should immediately begin using the new form when verifying an employee's ability to work in the United States.

As always, we recommend you do not make multiple copies of the form but download it directly from the Federal Government's website frequently. The link to the Form I-9 is located on the CHRO website at: http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/CHRO/Pages/hrmc.aspx. Go to "Sample Forms and Letters", then "I-9 Form-Employment Eligibility Verification". The link will take you directly to the US Department of Homeland Security US Citizenship and Immigration Services website.
