Subject:           Management Package Memo

The Management Compensation Package applies to: employees who are in management, unclassified (executive) and classified unrepresented service.

The Management Compensation Package for this biennium will mirror bargaining unit packages. Furlough days have been eliminated and previously frozen step increases restored. In addition, managers and other unrepresented staff will receive a 1.5 percent COLA on December 1 of this year and a 2 percent COLA in December of 2014. If healthcare costs increase less than expected, the December 2014 COLA will be implemented earlier. (One month for every 1.6 percent below the 5 percent budgeted increase.)

Managers and other unrepresented staff will continue to pay 5 percent of their health insurance premium through the 2014 plan year.

For the 2015 plan year, lower cost health insurance options may become available that would reduce the amount managers and employees need to contribute to their premiums. More information on plan changes will be forthcoming by PEBB.
