OSPS E-News ~ Migration to New Security Screen - 2nd Round

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

All,

Last night OSPS migrated four more screens to the new security screen PUSC (Payroll User Screen Control.)  If you are having trouble with access to any of these screens then please send the OSPS Help Desk an email.

P009 - Used by OSPS staff to scrub PINs (This would be for those agencies who use the P004 & P005 screens.)
P032 - Display screen for job segments (This coincides with the P031 screen which is used by OSPS staff.)
P090 - YTD Wages, Taxes and Retirement
P160 - Name Locator

The P009 is now available for agencies to scrub their own PINs.  Please have your payroll manager send in requests to the OSPS Help Desk.

Your payroll manager needs to include the following in their request:
Please grant the following people "Update" authority to the P009 screen.  (If you do not say please, then it may not happen!)
Name
RACF ID
Agency (if you deal with more than one)

http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/EGS/FBS/OSPS/docs/pubs/screens/p009.pdf - link to the P009 screen guide.  It will need to be updated to reflect this recent change in allowing agency payroll staff the ability to scrub PINs but the functionality and how to access the screen is the same.

Also the security setup for agency web reports has been migrated to the PUSC screen.  There will be no changes to the process agencies take when requesting web report access.  Agencies will fill out the same form and send it into OSPS to process.
