The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) has opened an Accountant 1 (Journal Voucher Accountant) position.  This position will handle most of the journal voucher adjustments, some reconciliation and will assist other accounting positions, serving as a main communication channel for field managers and program staff.  ODFW has a challenging financial structure that involves funding from grants (both federal and non-federal), contracts, license sales, lottery and general funds.  The agency also receives other funds in the form of donations and non-license sales.  This position will be key in working with program and accounting staff to assure that ODFW accounting records are accurately reflecting use and meeting standards.
