Coming soon! Free bus pass program returns to Capitol Mall

The Legislature recently authorized DAS to establish a free bus pass program in fiscal year 2017, which begins July 1. The program will be similar to a previous state program that allowed eligible state employees in the Salem Capitol Mall area to sign up to receive a sticker to place on their state ID badge. The sticker is the equivalent of a bus pass.

DAS staff are working with Salem Keizer Transit on an agreement that will outline the details of the program (some of the specifics have yet to be determined). Today's message lets employees know they will soon have another choice for commuting to the Capitol Mall area.
