The Financial Services Unit with Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking to hire a dynamic individual for an Accounting Technician 3 position.  The position we are offering is for a full time limited duration or rotational opportunity, through June 30, 2017, located in Salem.  If hired, you will become part of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

This position works with technical and professional staff to carry out various accounting functions for the agency.  This position is primarily responsible for processing accounts payable timely and accurately, which include:  employee travel claims, expense vouchers, and rent, lease and utility payment requests.    Reviews Small Purchase Order Transaction System transactions for consistency, reasonableness and compliance with established guidelines.
