[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Professionals,

The Federal and State tax tables were recently updated in OSPA for Tax Year 2019.  This change was made after December Final Run 1. Any checks now issued will calculate based on those new rates. You may see a small change in Federal or State Income tax withheld for employees on December Run 2. Any refund of taxes that results in net pay greater than $10.00 will result in a payment to the employee on December run 2, and any tax owed by the employee will offset the next run's pay.

Tax tables are updated once the IRS and DOR sends out notifications. In years past these updates are not completed until later in the new year.
