CHRO is hosting a Workday Information Forum for supervisory managers and employees with specialized security roles in Workday. Please see the below message. We have also placed an announcement to the home page of the appropriate roles within Workday.

Workday Information Forum

The DAS Chief Human Resources Office (CHRO) will be hosting a Workday Information Forum for supervisory managers and those with Workday specialized security roles! Based on statewide feedback the Workday Oregon team has received, they have organized a day where attendees will have the opportunity to participate in sessions geared toward their specialized role. The overall goal is for attendees to leave with increased ability and confidence when using Workday.

The Workday Information Forum will take place on June 12. The Forum will be within the Capitol Mall. Location varies by session. Employees must enroll through iLearn, and can choose to attend the morning and/or afternoon sessions. The schedule is as follows

·         8:30-11:30 a.m. – Employee Lifecycle Scenarios Exercise, covering multiple scenarios from participant roles (Manager Tract)

·         1-2:30 p.m. – Breakout Sessions 1

o   General Navigate/Tips & Tricks (Manager Tract)

o   Position Budgeting

o   Recruiting

o   Compensation

·         3-4:30 p.m. – Breakout Sessions 2

o   Recruiting

o   Compensation

o   Supervisory Organizations/Security Roles

o   Talent (Manager Tract)

Due to limited space, enrollment preference will be given to those in specialized roles associated with forum content. We recommend enrolling at your earliest convenience as there is a limited amount of space available. Supervisory managers are encouraged to attend and should look for sessions marked ‘Manager Tract.’


Note: You do not have to attend the morning scenarios session in order to participate in the afternoon sessions. If only one session covers information you need to know, you can enroll in just that session.
