[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Professionals,

The OSPA for Beginners training has been revamped to be virtual. The schedule has been posted below.  Enrollment for this training is open and it will close on Monday June 7th at 5:00pm . If you have taken the course before and would like to repeat a section, you will need to enroll in the full course and create a calendar reminder for the session you want to attend. If you are a new employee then it is required that you attend all of the sessions to receive credit of completion of the course.


  1.  June 16th , 2:30pm - 4:30pm (Day 1): Intro to Payroll & Inquiry Only Screens
  2.  June 17th, 2:30pm - 4:30pm (Day 2): Processes - Taxes, Manual Checks, Donated Leave & Garnishments
  3.  June 23rd  2:30pm - 4:30pm  (Day 3): Processes - PEBB Entries, Deceased Employees, New Hires, Separations
  4.  June 24th  2:30pm - 4:30pm (Day 4): Processes - PERS, Domestic Partner, Intro to Exception Reports, and Understanding the Processing Calendar
