[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Good morning,

Attached is the slide show presentation for the payroll forum that was presented on May 18, 2021.  During the forum we provided OSPS and CPERS updates as well as project updates.

One question that was asked that we said we would research was around paystubs and how the federal withholding was displayed on the Workday paystub.  What we found out is currently, the Workday paystub still reflects the federal withholding under the old format.  However IBM, our implementer, will help our project team craft a request to have Workday update how the federal tax withholding information is displayed on paystubs.

If that change is not able to be made by Workday or until such a change is put in place (if it occurs after go live) employees can see their federal and state W4 entries through the self-service functions.  This is something they can do today.  This is another reason to start directing employees to updating their tax elections and direct deposits into Workday instead of through a paper form.  Once it is entered by them into Workday, the employee can see the information.
