Hello Payroll Professionals

There are only 60 job postings that are offering a hiring bonus, but we have been informed that these bonuses must go out by 9/27/22. Do not let the bonus run with payroll on the 9/30/22.

This may result in some additional manual checks for your agency in September. You can check with your HR unit to see what recruitments are offering bonus and what stage those recruitments are at, to assess the potential workload for your payroll shop.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

The ability to pay hiring bonuses ends September 27, 2022. The Letters of Agreements with Labor and the CHRO policy addendum allowing for the hiring bonus will not be extended.

At this time, there are approximately 60 open job postings offering a hiring bonus. Please coordinate within your agency to ensure all job postings offering a hiring bonus are closed early enough to complete the review, interview, reference checks, and job offer processes in time to allow the successful candidate to have a start date prior to September 27. This includes Evergreen recruitments. The full hiring bonus offered must be paid by September 27, 2022.
