Payroll Partners,

CPERS has developed a new resource for payroll partners called "How to Calculate PERS Corrections"<https://wd5.myworkday.com/oregon/d/search.htmld?q=PERS%20Corrections&state=searchCategory-Articles>. It is designed to assist you in calculating all the elements included in a PERS correction (Pension, IAP, RHIA, RHIPA).

This new resource has been linked to the "PERS Corrections, Payroll Partner" knowledge article in Workday, and can also be found on the CPERS Website<https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Payroll/Pages/cpers.aspx> under Resources.

Please contact your CPERS Analyst with any questions.

Thank you,

Shauna Tobiasson | Senior CPERS Analyst

Subject: [DAS_Centralized_PERS_Services_Team] PERS Corrections & Workday

Greetings Payroll Partners,

The purpose of this email is to provide you with resources & instructions for making PERS corrections and getting support.

Since the launch of Workday Payroll, CPERS has been conservative with requesting PERS corrections as we worked to gain stability with our systems and the monthly CPERS integration file. We also wanted to give everyone, ourselves included, time to become familiar with how the new CPERS integration and Payroll system functions. We have kept a list of accounts that need contribution adjustments, and over the next few weeks agencies will begin receiving adjustment requests from CPERS.

The PERS Corrections, Payroll Partner knowledge article has been updated to include a link to the "PERS Retro Guide". The PERS Retro Guide has detailed instructions for making retro correction to PERS contributions based on scenario. The PERS Corrections, Payroll Partners knowledge article may be found here<https://wd5.myworkday.com/oregon/d/search.htmld?q=PERS%20Correction&state=searchCategory-Articles>, or by searching "PERS Corrections" in WD and filtering by the category Articles.

If you need support with a PERS related matter, please contact you CPERS Analyst<mailto:Central.PERSServicesTeam at das.oregon.gov%3e> directly, rather than opening a help case in Workday. If Workday system support is needed, CPERS may advise agencies to open a help case in Workday.

Thank you,

Shauna Tobiasson | Senior CPERS Analyst
