OSPS E-News ~ SEIU Sick Leave Counts as OT Retro Correction Process

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Partners,

To retroactively correct SEIU sick leave to count as overtime hours worked in a week, please follow the guide below:

  *   Run the following reports to identify the impacted population:
o   Absence | Calculated Time Tracking Hours and Allocation
?  Use dates 8/1/2023 to present
?  Use time calculation tags AST-Additional Straight Time and Sick Leave (Time off)

  *   Run a time calculation for the week or weeks that an employee had sick leave and worked additional hours
o   Time will need to be re-submitted and approved to pick up the updated time calculation in retro results

Please remember this change to SEIU is effective August 2023 and going forward.
