Good morning,

The items listed below are the Workday Change Advisory Board (CAB) September configuration release updates approved on September 14, 2023. All items are now in Workday and available for Payroll Partners to access as needed.

*Time Entry Approval by Management chain
Approved
OFLA and FMLA eligibility year is changing to a 52-week rolling forward calendar year
Approved
AFSCME DOC - Security Plus employees who are exempt chaplains are not receiving shift differential when they should be per the CBA
Approved
CBA: Per DEQ AFSCME CBA, all employees including exempt need to be eligible for the time entry code On Call
Approved
Employees covered by the Oregon Nurses Association CBA (ONA) should not have shift differential rounding
Approved
Employees who are exempt and represented by the AFSCME Dentist CBA should be eligible for straight time for hours worked over 40

Equipment Operator Differential
Approved
Need to add allowances to the calculation of the earning code Premium-halftime rate

OSPOA: Field Investigation/Crime Scene Rotation and Response comp time accrued at 2.5 rate

Return of overpayment deduction is not set to recalculate during retro

Secretary of State's work week and FLSA period should be Mon-Sun

Transport Differential is not tied to an earnings code – causing an underpayment (DOC case)

Tie the existing time entry code SSD for ODOT to the existing earning code for Differential - Sand and Snow

Time entry code CTY is not accruing to comp time balances

Remove 6 month wait for accrued vacation use for new hires

Secretary of State - SL now counts as time worked for the purposes of determining OT

*Agency Payroll Partner Role Enhancement

*Please note the following regarding these 2 configuration release updates:
·        Time Entry Approval by Management Chain
o   This update now allows for the management chain of an employee to approve submitted time when the subordinate manager is unavailable to approve time.
·        Agency Payroll Partner Role Enhancement
o   This change now allows Payroll Partners to see a state-wide view of “Pay Results.” Agency Payroll Partners will now see “Pay Results” that will efficiently provide answers to employment verifications, PERS & PEBB inquiries as well as other types of audits that might be needed on an employee's payroll record.
