Subject: [DAS_Centralized_PERS_Services_Team] Payroll Corrections & Comments

Hello Payroll Partners,

When making pay input entries to correct pay for previous months, comments are very important as they provide the historical details for the correction. Please include the following information in comments:

  *   Hours
  *   Pay type
  *   Month/year

It is also helpful if a separate pay input entry can be done for each month. Here is an example:

Comment: 2 hours OT pay for September 2023

PERS statute requires that wages be posted to the period in which they were earned. CPERS uses the comments to identify which month the pay needs to be moved to in the PERS system. Providing these details in the comments will expedite our ability to make necessary adjustments without needing to request additional information from agencies and will help ensure accurate historical information.

If you have any questions about how this request, please contact me, or your CPERS Analyst<mailto:central.persservicesteam at das.oregon.gov>.

Thank you,
