Please see the attached documents from our Federal partners at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).  We have been asked to forward these documents on to transportation professionals in our state.

The TSA Security Awareness Message (SAM) is a reminder to ground transportation infrastructure to be vigilant with the upcoming anniversary of the Madrid Train bombing on 3/11.

The FMCSA notice in the Federal Register is for the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Minimum Training Requirements for Entry-Level Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators.  FMCSA is accepting public comment until April 6, 2016, and seeking input on specific questions posted in the Federal Register.
