We're usually limited to a pretty thrifty budget, so we try to keep prices as low as Scholastic's literacy partnership prices as possible--or even lower if there's the chance.


Other places we look is First Book (sometimes they have great deals) and BookOutlet/BookDepot.


I've also started looking at every single bilingual or Spanish language Scholastic title in that spreadsheet each year--lately I've found nice surprises...for a couple years in a row I've found titles that I originally purchased for our library collection in Guadalajara that now Scholastic has a paperback version of. Tiny, baby steps, but encouraging, none the less.

Hello Reformistas,

I am wondering what, if any, vendors/resources you go to  for purchasing outreach giveaway books? We usually order books through scholastic's literacy partnerships, but we're hoping to find something with more/different Spanish titles available. Do other similar initiatives to Scholastic's Literacy Partnerships exist? Any information is appreciated.
