Payrolltax News LISTSERV
May 2012
(Outreach/Education)

Educational Opportunities:

Do payroll taxes confuse you? What needs to be reported and how? When are certain taxes due? What is the difference between an employee and an independent contractor? Where do I go for answers?

Workshops, resource fairs, and classroom presentations are available to help you find these and other answers! For example, classroom presentations/workshops are being offered in conjunction with both Chemeketa College SBDC and Lane Community College SBDC to provide basic information on everything from "Getting Started" to Business and Payroll Taxes.

Presented by payroll tax experts with the Oregon Department of Revenue, these workshops are free unless otherwise indicated. The goal is to make these workshops available to anyone who would like to attend.
