Hello Tax Professionals,

Oregon law (ORS 317.314) doesn't allow a deduction for any state taxes upon or measured by net income or profits. Any amount subtracted for these taxes on your federal return must be added back on the Oregon return. Based on a recent Oregon Tax Court Order (Con-Way, Inc. & Affiliates v. Department of Revenue TC5003, 12/27/2011) the Oregon corporation minimum tax is not subject to the state tax add back provision.
